mexi log fest

Mexi Log Fest is a longboard surf festival, I created the artwork and poster for the 2027 meet. Celebrating the meeting point of Mexican folk art and longboard surfing culture, the poster is inspired by traditional Árbol de la Vida sculptures, sacred hearts and hand-painted Mexican signage. The illustration places a female surfer at the centre of a symbolic tree of life, where flowing waves replace branches and decorative floral motifs intertwine throughout the composition. Designed in an earthy colour palette inspired by vintage screen prints, the poster aims to evoke warmth, craftsmanship and the vibrant spirit of coastal Mexico.
